The Otaku Senshi and Online Sailor Moon Community is a vast network of individuals that are excited and interested about their fan works! There are so many different types of people to make friends with and so much opportunity to learn and grow. If you would like to get involved in the community, Sakura would like to offer the opportunity for you to start right here at SSC. SSC is focused on fan works: fiction, fanart, short story, and articles related to fan-character creation and Sailor Moon in general. This site survives because of contributions of people like you! Submitting work to SSC is simple, you just have to fit the following requirements:General Guidelines
- DO NOT submit work that is not your own.
- Make sure you give credit to all your sources; plagiarism, Franken-dolling, and other general means of ripping people off will not be tolerated.
- Send all submissions to Sakura@sailorastera.com
- Please use the subject: "SSC Submission"
- In the body of the email, include the following: Your Name (or nickname), Age (if you are comfortable sharing), and a little about your work.
- Feel free to include links to your web page(s) and let Sakura know if you want your email address listed with the submission.
- Any and all fanart of Sakura's otaku senshi are welcome! All fanart will be posted in the otaku senshi's gallery.
- Make sure the images are in one of the following formats: .JPG, .BMP, .GIF, .PNG or .TIFF
- Send all images as attachments, not as imbedded files.
- Select at least 5 pieces of your own original work. This can include edits, hand drawn images, dolls, and a variety of other styles.
- Make sure the images are in one of the following formats: .JPG, .BMP, .GIF, .PNG or .TIFF
- Send all images as attachments, not as imbedded files.
- Short Stories are stories that are around or less than 3000 words.
- Make sure the story is submitted in one of the following formats: pasted into the email body, .DOC, .RTF, .TXT, or .HTML
- Short Stories must be completed.
- Please be sure to spell-check and grammar-check your work.
- If you have an image you would like to include with the story you may attach up to one image with the short. Be sure you tell Sakura where you want to picture to go.
- Fanfictions are usually stories that are broken up into chapters or arcs. They are usually longer than 3000 words.
- All Fanfictions must be completed; no works in progress will be accepted.
- Please be sure to spell-check and grammar-check your work.
- Make sure the story is submitted in one of the following formats: .DOC, .RTF, .TXT, or .HTML
- It would be helpful if you could include a separate file for each chapter or arc.
- Articles should be focused essays that analyze, explore, or develop and idea related to fan-character creation, information related to character creation, common areas of debate in the Sailor Moon universe, or Sailor Moon info in general.
- All Articles must be completed; no works in progress will be accepted.
- Please be sure to spell-check and grammar-check your work.
- Make sure the article is submitted in one of the following formats: .DOC, .RTF, .TXT, .HTML
- If you have additional files to go with the files such as illustrations or diagrams, please be sure to include a list of files names and their proper location within the file. If you plan on using many illustrations, it would be helpful if you sent the article pre-formatted in HTML.
