Sailor Sun started off as a senshi for fun. I originally started creating her because I wanted to design my own Sailor Sun after meeting so many others in the otaku senshi community. My goal was to do something new with her and make her fit into the Sailormoon universe in a beleivable way. Eventually, the ideas I had with her spilled over into a fiction that is now in its early writing phases: The Legend of Sailor Sun.
