Poetry Contest
SSC is currently hosting a poetry contest! Your goal is to write a poem about Sailor Astera. All poems will be featured in a special section here on SSC and your entry will include a link to your web site if you have one. First prize will also get bragging rights and a pretty banner award.Rules
1. Style and theme are up to you; you don't have to mention Astera by name, but it should apparent it's about her
2. Length should be no more than around a page; formatting can be different so that's why I am keeping it sort of open, but no epics ;)
3. You have to write the poem yourself, but you can collaborate with one other person if you want to
Submitting
If the formatting is special, please submit it by email as a .doc or .rtf, but if there is no special formatting you can just post it in the email body. Please include your name and the name of any co-author, a title, and the URL of your web site if you have one.

Otaku Wars & Tuxedo Wars
The Otaku Wars is a spin-off of the Sailor Wars which was a contest that began here on SSC in 2003 as a way for otaku senshi creators to have a little fun with their fan characters and get some feedback as well. The Otaku Wars contest is designed so that creators can enter their senshi into 'duel' against another's fan character. The two character's are posted in the Duel Grounds for the duration of the contest during which guests to the site read the profiles and place their votes for who should win. If a senshi wins three duels in a row, they earn a place in the Chamber of Legends. Thank you to Steph for running this exciting competition!Miriya, the webmistress of Starlight, also took on the Sailor Wars motif to create a new Battle Field for male senshi. The original Sailor Wars game did not allow for male senshi to enter the arena, how ever, the Tuxedo Wars features these male senshi competing in the same method as the Sailor Wars. They too can earn a place in a Hall of Fame with three battles won in a row.
